Aloha beautiful people! It's December faves time! (cue for cheers). I don't really know what else to introduce it by? Let's just start!
AMY:
Beauty:
Clearasil Perfecta Wash - I've been buzzing about this to EVERYONE! Its so cool! Its basically a face wash/cleanser, and its in a machine, and its automatic! And awesome! I love it! It does dispense the 'perfect amount' of face wash and works in removing your makeup, it also says that its 'daily clear' I'm assuming that means that it fights break outs? Or clears skin? I'm not exactly spot free, but I do have a significant amount of less spots! I still have quite a few though, I'm not saying this thing is a miracle worker! Haha! When I googled this, it said it was around the £12 mark, but I got mine for £3! WITH BATTERIES! The refills are £2! That comes with 100 doses! BARGAIN! That was from Savers, branch here in the UK (at least, I think its only in UK...)
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - I had heard loads of great things from loads of my beauty guru's, and then Megan bought it, so I used it a few times off of her, and I liked it then! I was in dire need of a powder anyway, as I have oily skin, and the foundation I was using was only a cheap one, so it was very shiny too, that didn't help matters, since I've bought this, it had transformed my face, no over exaggeration, and it lasts five hours too! I'm so so SO pleased with this buy! When I bought this all of the Translucent was gone, so I bought mine in 03Peach Glow, its still so good, and doesn't make that much difference to my skin tone either! Definite buy, so affordable too! Only £4! BUY NOW!
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation - Yes, more Rimmel, in fact they had a 3 for 2 on Rimmel in Boots, how could I resist? This was also one that I had heard from Beauty Guru's of mine, and also, I had it about a year ago, so I already knew I liked it! It was just a matter of rekindling that love! This foundation is great, it doesn't cake, and stays put! Great! The only fault was that the colours aren't too great, last time I had this, I got the Light Porcelain, and that was FAR too light, white almost, so I bought the shade up
True Ivory, and its a wee bit too warm me thinks! But this is a definite for any makeup bag! As its drug store makeup, its cheap! So good for a budget makeup wearer (like me, I'm always skint) but I also remember Tanya Burr saying that it was similar Nars Sheer Glow, so maybe even perfect for you High End people! Buy, Buy, BUY!
Food:
Mince Pies - These were my life, and probably a total Cliche for a December Favourites post, but seriously! So yummy! If you know me, you will know that I eat A LOT, and these were no exception! In fact, I've been told that while people eat, they think of me, hm... A lot of people don't like them WHY?! But I like dried fruit, especially dried apricots, I don't know why I'm talking about dried apricots now, as I don't even think they're in Mince Pies? Okay I'll shut up now!
Film:
Pretty In Pink - this is an 80's film and it just great, I first watched it in December and I like fell in love with it, omg. Its just amazing, if you haven't watched it, watch it. I like those sort of films anyway, and I like the old films: Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman etc... Ermagherrd, it's so good!
MEGAN:
Beauty:
Lancome Hydrogen Moisturiser - During December I had only one beauty favourite and that is the French make up band, Lancome's, highly recommended moisturiser - Hydrogen! I can safely say it is the best moisturiser i have ever tried out, it absorbs easily, you don't need too much and it keeps your skin looking healthy and feeling healthy.
Food:
Cheese - This one's a bit weird, but for some unknown reason, over Christmas, I ate so much cheese! I especially like Blacksticks Blue. Cheese is great with grapes, apples, crackers or even just bread! Mmmm.
Film:
Elf - DUH! If you haven't watched this film then i suggest that you go and watch it right this minute as it is, without a doubt, the best Christmas film I have ever watched! It's hilarious, unique and good for the whole family! The storyline is unlike any other, and, above all, it's super Christmassy! I enjoyed sitting down in the evening with the Christmas tree lights and a nice cup of mulled wine and watching Elf - can you think of anything better?!
So that's the end of our december favourites - what are some of the things that you enjoyed during December? Tell us in the comments!

BLOGMAS DAY TWENTY-ONE: FEELING HAPPY!
Saturday, 21 December 2013
So this is a bit of a random post today but I didn't know what to write about so I decided to tell all you guys about certain aspects of my life that are starting to look up! For a while I've been very stressed due to school work and family and friend issues, but recently things have turned around a lot!
1: School
School has now finished as its the Christmas holiday's (eek) but I finally feel like I'm on top of everything. All the exams I've recently had, I feel like I've done well and any results I've got have been B+! I don't mean to blow my own trumpet but I am quite proud of myself and hope that over the next year and a half I can keep it up!
2: Friends
For some reason, probably because of all the stress at school, I seem to have fallen out with a lot of my friends, but luckily, we've all made up! All the petty little problems that seemed to matter so much to me a few weeks ago, don't matter at all now, and I can now say, I trust every single one of my friends and I really don't know what I'd do without them!
3: Family
In the past year, there have been A LOT of issues in my family, but they have all seemed to sort themselves out I the past few weeks and everyone seems to be a lot happier and in the festive spirit so yay! This makes me super happy as I love my family so much and wish them all the best.
4: KATRINA
I don't know if many of you know but one of my best friends (not Amy) moved up to Scotland a few years ago. Her name's Katrina and we've been best friends since we were 7. I went on holiday with her earlier this year and we had so much fun, but I was very sad when I had to leave her :( But now I am so happy as a couple of days ago, I found out that she coming down to Devon for New Years Eve and staying at mine, I'm so excited! She is honestly one of the best people in my life and I don't know what I'd do without her! I'm especially happy as I didn't think I'd be seeing her for a while, being that I we live about 600 miles apart!
So that's all the good things in my life right now and I can finally say and mean it when I do, I'm in such a good place in my life! This year has been quite difficult for me, but I can definitely say that I've come out of it stronger! And on top of all that, Christmas is in four days! YAY!
I hope you enjoyed this slightly different post, I'm going to end it with a quote I find very apt for this subject as, although I feel like everything's falling into place in my life, I know that will be more obstacles to overcome, but that's okay.
'Happiness is a mood, a feeling, a condition, not a destination. It's like being tired or hungry, its not permanent. It come and goes and that's okay, we all struggle sometimes.'

BLOGMAS DAY SEVENTEEN: CHRISTMAS CONCERT!
Tuesday, 17 December 2013
Hera guys, this is just gonna be a super short post as I am sooooooo tired! I literally just got back from our school's Christmas concert! It was so much fun!
Me and Amy are both in choir, in which we performed many songs, including All I want for Christmas is you, Let it snow, Deck the halls, Hallelujah and our own little Christmas medley! We also had our own solo song that we sang; Warm this winter, by Gabriella Cilmi.
It's safe to say that the past two days have been extremely stressful for the both us! We had to rehearse for choir, our own solo song AND I had to finish my science exam today! I've been so busy I haven't eaten yet, which is quite bad...oh well.
Even though we were very nervous, we got up on stage and performed and I, personally, think it went great, I was a bit out of time at the start, but other than that, it was good considering how much we were both shaking when we walked on stage!
I had a really fun night, everyone was in really good moods and singing Christmassy songs and got me in the festive spirit!
Sorry about this short post! Hope you enjoyed it,
Megan

BLOGMAS DAY FIFTEEN: MEETING FATHER CHRISTMAS!
Sunday, 15 December 2013
Hello! Today's post I'm going to tell you what I've done today, as you can probably guess from the title, it was very exciting! I met Santa! I really shouldn't be so excited about that, being that I'm 14 and all but, hey, who cares, right? It's Christmas, if you can't be childish then, when can you be?!
I woke up at 8:30 (ugh) which was definitely the worse part of the day as I am a firm believer that Sunday's are lie in days, I wasn't happy. We were up and out of the door by 9:30 as we had to go and pick up my eldest sister, my baby niece Ivy and my nephew Brandon. Once we had crammed everyone into the car we were off! (Just to let you know, the event where you could meet Santa was at a local department store, I'm not going to say where, security reasons and all!)
Unfortunately it was pouring down with rain so we had to wait outside for them to open the doors in a mini storm - fun times! When they had finally let us in, each family were given table names and then shown to our seats. At the tables, there were Christmassy drawings to colour in, party popper, crackers, balloons etc. There was no way you could be bored!
We then got to choose what we had for breakfast - I had pancakes with blueberries and raspberries on top, it was delicious! After finishing our breakfasts, Father Christmas made an appearance! He came round to every single table to say hello to the children and to take pictures with them. Brandon, my nephew, was very happy as Father Christmas came to our table first and gave him a present! It's safe to say, Brandon was very happy.
Whilst Father Christmas was saying hello to the rest of the children, a magician came round to each table to entertain them. He did a few magic tricks and then made us a balloon animal hat each, he was actually pretty good!
After that you could choose what you wanted to do, you could either stay at your table and do some colouring, go and make some Christmas decorations with Santa's Elves, or play pin Rudolph's nose back on! There was something for everyone! We did all of these activities and actually had a lot of fun, even if the event was meant for children...
At 12 o'clock it was time to leave and none of the children were very happy about that! But, after a lot of moaning and sighing, we were all in the car ready to go home. We dropped my sister and my niece and nephew home again then headed home ourselves. Since then I have done nothing all day - a day well spent I think!
Thank you for reading!

BLOGMAS DAY THREE: GIFT WISH LIST!
Tuesday, 3 December 2013
Hey! So for the next couple of days, we will be sharing our gift wish lists with you! Don't forget to tell us in the comments what your wishes are? Or send us a link to your blogmas? or hey! Why not both? I'm looking forward to seeing them!
Where We Are - Book! As most of you will know, I like a bit of One Direction! But I'm more into the music and concert side of the fandom, rather than the poster-and-PJ's-side, even though, I used to have posters all around my room, and I'm pretty sure I had PJ's...
This Is Us DVD! I did a blog post on this wonder, or maybe two? I loved it! Go check it out!
Midnight Memories - CD! I've literally listened to this album, on repeat SO many times! IT'S SO GOOD!
Wow, I know I literally just said I was on the maturer side of the fandom, but that's it for One Direction merch, this year...
La Vie Est A Belle - Lancome Perfume! THIS SMELLS SO GOOD! I'm kind of obsessed with this at the moment, and I know it can be a wee bit pricey, but if you scroll through eBay, you can find some cheaper (if you're willing to bid on it!)
RealTechniques Brushes! These are SO soft, and I've heard a lot of good reviews on the marvels! I want them so bad! Fingers crossed!
Fairy lights! These are SO cute, and can transform ANY room! I want to surround my room in them and sit with a cup-of-tea with the lights off, I'm not weird... I promise...
LED Tea lights! I'm not allowed real candles in my room, not like I'm going to burn the house down or anything... So I want some LED ones, and teaming them with lovely defusers, no one will know the difference! Haha!
Money! I'm going to London next year for the weekend to One Direction (OMG I CAN'T WAIT!) Anyway... I still need A LOT of money, for food, merch, SHOPPING! Etc... Also, after Christmas I want to buy a Christmas tree in the January Sales.. YAY!
Vouchers! I pretty much ALWAYS get vouchers for Christmas, and they are SO useful! As I can go into clothes stores in the January Sales and just Clothes-Binge, is that a thing? CHEAP CHRISTMAS JUMPERS FOR NEXT YEAR!
Baby shampoo! I do indeed realise how weird this must sound to anyone, but I have read that it is good for cleaning makeup brushes, so my plan is to get a years supply! I was asked what i wanted as an extra present and i chose something I would have had to buy my self anyway! WHY NOT?!
So this has been my wish list! After Christmas, I will do another post telling you what I actually got!
Don't forget to share your links or wants this Christmas!
BUBYEEE!

YOUTUBE!
Wednesday, 6 November 2013
This isn't a normal post, and I know most of you won't really get excited about this post, but then again you won't get excited about another post... Moving on from that embarrassing moment!
This is just a short post to ask your opinion on something!
I want to be a Youtuber, but not really sure when I should start posting videos? I watch A LOT of Youtubers including the likes of: Tanya Burr; Zoella; Pointless Blog; Thatcher Joe; Jim Chapman... The list could go on!
Some people in my year have started Youtubing, and everyone has taken the 'mick' out of them... They were cringy to be honest though! Y'see that's what I'm worried about! Will people be horrible about it? I mean, I wouldn't post it to Facebook or anything, that would be exposing myself to all sorts of hate!
I actually found out recently that a few of my friends also want to do Youtubing, and some of the girls want to do Blogging as well, and you know when you have the competitive instinct to want to beat them? Be better than them, that feeling came flooding to me, they're lovely though, and would probably be better than me anyway... Ah well!
If I were to start posting videos NOW I wouldn't tell anyone, and I'm not sure whether I should wait at least a year until this Blog gets better, giving me more leeway and making it easier?
Please help me?

ISWAI!
Tuesday, 5 November 2013
Hey guys, it's Megan here! This is a bit of a random post, but ever since Made in Chelsea's Caggie Dunlop's clothing brand 'ISWAI' launched in April 2012, I have loved every single piece produced by them and not just because I love Caggie! ISWAI (which stands for ' It Starts With An Idea'), is an individual clothing line, made to give underrated designers a chance to express their talent and creativity. I just wanted to do this post to show you guys what a great brand it is, as it's many different designers putting their own thoughts and ideas into something, even Caggie's had a go at designing some items!
The first line they launched was called 'Five Ways' and if your order was within the first 50 orders, you got a special hand-written note from Caggie, which I thought was nice touch. The tee's were priced at £42 when they first came out but since then, the price's have gone down to £30, which I think is a really good price as the the tee's are really good quality, the delivery's quick, they're comfortable and they're fashionable - what more do you need from a tee?!
This is the 'Universe light' tee which Caggie designed herself. This is personally one of my favourites and I got it from Christmas last year, it's sooooo nice!
Caggie with the other four designers of 'The Five Ways' line.
Caggie looking great at the launch of the ISWAI pop-up shop.
I Hope you enjoyed this random little post, I hope I did ISWAI justice! If you're reading this, I think you should go and check their website out as they have lots of new pieces coming out, all in time for the colder months - perfect for christmas presents!

Thank you for reading,

EXETER HAUL!
Monday, 21 October 2013
HEY! We would just like to start off by saying a HUGE thank
you, over 300 views! That might not sound like avlot to you, but to us, it's amazing! We are going to start having target page views
each month, this month was 200 and we exceeded it already! Let's see if we can get to
400 by November!
This weekend we went to Exeter, we also went with Elley, a
mutual friend of ours as we all had a weekender at Megan's house! We bought a few
(CHRISTMASSY) things and we decided to do our fist haul post! Tell us in the
comments if you enjoyed it!
1-
MINI CHRISTMAS JAR CANDLES! These were actually
extra gifts for my Mum and my Brother's Girlfriend, they are £1 each from
Primark, they have a Firewood Fig scent and the are fabby! I want some for myself! They are adorable and are in a
cute little glass jar, with a festive, shiny, red label!
2-
CHRISTMAS THROW! Elley bought this and it was
also from Primark. It was £5 (amazing!), it's big, fluffy and Christmassy! We both love it
and are planning to steal it from Elley *wink*.
3-
CHRISTMAS FLASKS! Megan and Elley bought these
and guess where they were from? PRIMARK! We do love that store, especially at Christmas! Anyway, these were only £2.50, and are adorable, they are thick plastic cups
with a rubber sleeve to keep your hands from burning. They have a really cute festive design and actually keep your drinks quite warm, they have a screw on plastic red lid and a little hole to drink
out of! Another good thing about them is that they keep your drinks very warm, Megan's coffee stayed warm all of Sunday morning whilst she was on the train. Elley also said she would buy me one for Christmas, it will
be perfect for my car journey to my Mum's on boxing day!
4-
RIMMEL STAY MATTE POWDER! Everyone buzzes about this product, so Megan finally decided to buy it in translucent. It was £3.99 at boots and she
loves it! It isn't Christmassy but ah well, it's a must!
5-
CHRISTMAS CANDLE HOLDERS! These are super cute
and are only 99p for two (from the 99p store)! They had Red, Purple, (bit random) and silver ones, Megan opted for the red ones as well agreed that they were very the most Christmassy! They are amazing, they create a
little red glow around them when holding a lit candle, and the cut out
snowflakes are also projected around! One is a matte glassed holder and the
other is a shiny glassed holder! I want some too! GO BUY
THEM! Seriously, for 99p, you can't go wrong.
6-
FOOD! Megan and Elley bought loads of food, I didn’t as
when it gets to this time of year, I solely devote my money to buying gifts. They bought a large bag of BBQ Rib Doritos, which are apparently really nice, I haven’t had any before. They also had a TESCO meal deal for £3, and some
cans of PEPSI from poundland. In the evening, they had a bar of Cadbury Crunchie, this was a big bar of Dairy Milk with small pieces of Crunchie! It looked lush, but I refused to eat anything that I didn't buy... The last thing they bought was a brownie mix! We baked them in the evening and had a stereotypical sleepover - brownies and a gossip!
7- Christmas Catalogues, I love these and every one I see, I pick up! I got a TESCO one, I love this one as it was glossy and amazing! I then got a boots one, well I already had one but it got very tattered as I took it to school every day, my maths teacher even threatened to call my dad and Megan's mum to cancel Christmas if we didn't put it away! (That's how often I had it out...) I also got two John Lewis ones, one was a gift guide, the other was a decoration guide, they're both full of lovely ideas. I then picked up a Saisbury's one. Even though it was only food ideas, I love food and it said Christmas on the front, so I didn't mind! Lastly, I got a superdrug one, which was packed with gift sets and make up ideas! We're always looking for more christmas catalogues, so if you know of any shops that have them, please tell us in the comments below!
So this was our Exeter haul, we hope you enjoyed it! Would you want us to do more hauls in the future Also, we would like to know what sort things you like to read about, and if you have any ideas for future posts, we will take all comments on board! Thank you for reading, see you on Thursday!

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES!
Monday, 7 October 2013
Here at LAOR we have A LOT of favourite products, so we decided to show you guys them! We've had to narrow it down, here they are! Also, we want to know what your favourites of last month were, tell us in the comments!
This had to be Last first Kiss - One Direction... So as you might know I have a wee bit of an obsession with these lads, and I've always loved this song, its from their album Take Me Home and it's a good belter, love a good belter! My parents don't particularly though... This song is just perfect...
As you would probably guess, it has to be This Is Us. It was actually out at the end of August, but i was on holiday with my family so I saw it in September, and I'm not just saying this because its 1D, but because I loved it. Megan doesn't like 1D, so I went with another friend, we were the only ones in the showing, 3D might I just add.. and as we were the only ones there we were singing, at the top of our lungs, and just dancing around the cinema! It was such a good film! By the end, we sounded as if we had just been to the concert, again! I'd give it top marks, emotional, fun, musical! Well done Lads!

1 - Philosophy: Hope in a stick. This product is so lovely to apply, it's nice and moist so it doesn't tug at the lip. Nice and balmy. S'pose that's what you look for in a lip BALM, wouldn't be a balm if it wasn't very balmy, eh? Love a good balm! (No idea why I just said that, just going with the flow!) Anyway, its just an all rounder! Doesn't have a scent, but I. Just. Love. This! I actually got this in the Summer, when my Mum went to Hawaii, they gave her a philosophy pack on the plane, so I 'borrowed' it from her! Anyway - good product, highly recommend this!
2 - Sally Hensen XTREME WEAR nail colour - in no. 89 Ruby Stilettos. A wonderful shade, a sparkly red, I actually bought this in August with Christmas in mind (78 Days, OMG) but then found it in my bag one day and tried it out! Just brilliant, I wouldn't totally agree with the 'XTREME WEAR' part, it just lasted about average time, but I still love it! Rush out and buy it before Christmas, yay!
3 - NIVEA Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream, I don't think I can stress how much I love hand cream, it is an absolute essential in my life, it comes with me everywhere - school, in my hand bag, at home, EVERYWHERE, so I have tried many in the past and this has to be in my top 2, along with Soap and glory HAND FOOD. It is lovely, and not greasy at all! ILOVEIT, fast drying and a good scent! brilliant!

1 - NYC Big Bold Curl Mascara, up until I purchased this mascara, I have always used high end mascaras as I thought 'the more expensive, the better it must be' I couldn't of been more wrong. I bought this in Superdrug (a drugstore here in the UK) for £2.49 - I couldn't believe how cheap it was, and, to be honest, I didn't expect it be very good, however, I was extremely wrong! I bought it in extra black - the blacker the better, and not only is long lasting, it makes your eyelashes look a lot fuller and curls them, hence the name! I'll definitely be re-purchasing this.

2 - Simple Replenishing Moisturiser, I adore this mostiriser! It's absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh and it's also works really well as a primer for foundation. There is no scent and it contains vitamins B5 and E - both very good for your skin!

Over the last month I have had many favourite songs but there is one song that just sticks out from the rest and that is Blue - Angie Hart. Although it's quite an old song, it's still really good. It's quite sad and quite slow, but I love listening to it - it's very calming. How I came across it is a bit weird - I was watching an old episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (a show both Amy and I adore!) and I got it stuck in my head so I googled the lyrics and then became obsessed with it... Go check it out!

As I previously mentioned, Amy and I love Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I grew up with it and was completely obsessed when I was about six, I actually thought that I was Buffy! Anyway, moving on from that embarrassing strory, I recently rekindled my love for the programme and managed to watch the entire 7 seasons in a month and a bit, I told you I was obsessed! It's such an enticing program, with lots of comedy, drama and action, it will forever be one of my favourites, definitely worth watching!
So there you have it, our September favourites! We hope enjoyed it, leave your favourites from the past month in the comments.
P.s We are going to (attempt) to update this blog once a week on Fridays.
Thanks for reading,
Amy & Megan
