It's that time of the year again! Wooopwooop, I don't think I can explain how happy that makes me!
So for this year's Blogmas we have a basic schedule that I would leak to you, but then again we're going to end up not sticking to it, so I feel it would be a waste and letting ourselves down, like, if we keep it to ourselves we can pretend we haven't failed, but when it's exposed, well, then it gets bad.
We will try and keep alternating with posts like last year, with the occasional joint post!
Is there anything in particular you would want to see? Whether it be a makeup tutorial or a baking post? Ideas welcome below or you can always tweet us etc!
Thankyou and Merry Christmas
Amy

BLOGMAS DAY FIVE: WINTER MAKEUP!
Thursday, 5 December 2013
Hey there! I hope you are enjoying Blogmas so far! IT’S DAY THREE! Where is this year going?! IT’S NEARLY CHRISTMAS! Asdfghjkl! Okay, fan girl moment over; jeez you would have thought I was meeting One Direction, eh?
Today’s post, as the title shows, is going to be my winter make up! Now this isn’t too different to my others, except for the fact that I wear a different shade of eye shadows! In the summer, I kept it to pinks, in the spring it was quite neutral, I miss out autumn, as y’know, Christmas! This winter I have kept it down to bronzes and browns. Here is my Make up tutorial, have fun!
STEP ONE: BASE;
I am using the NIVEA Soft as my moisturiser at the moment, it’s a lot thicker than my others, but I still like it, and let’s not forget we need extra care in winter cause of cold weathers and chapping winds! Also, I am using the Rimmel Match Perfect for my foundation!
I look bug-eyed and bad lighting much...
STEP TWO: CONTOUR;
I am using a brown bronzer out of an old palette for this, nothing more, nothing less, I apply this to the bottom of my cheek bones to give them a bit of oomph, I also apply a weenie little bit to the very sides of my forehead as I have a very wide hear, if you didn’t know that already!
I apply a light yellowy gold as a base, then a bronze to the far side of my lid, I them apply a brown to my crease and blend it all together!
My nose looks HUGE! Mind the foundation creases!
STEP FOUR: MASCARA;
I am currently using the LancĂ´me Hypnose Mascara, and I love it! It’s fabby!

THE GREATEST TIME OF ALL! (Amy)
Wednesday, 13 November 2013
Sup, for this post I wanted to fan girl a little about Christmas, over the the lifespan of this wee blog, you may have noticed a few things about us. One of them being that we get far too excited for Christmas, far too early! There is even a countdown widget on the side of our site! A weird one, but ah well, actually, do any of you know any simple Christmas countdowns?
ANYWAY! Back on track, I have always thought that the build up to Christmas is so much more exciting then THE 25th of December! not that I am being ungrateful or anything, don't get me wrong, I love Christmas Day, I love waking up in the morning to my siblings shaking me, I love taking my stocking into my Dad's room and all sitting on the far-too-small-for-6-full-grown-people-king-size-bed, and taking it in turns to unwrap presents, I love sitting around the tree with the music channels on whilst waiting for my parents to get out of bed, I love taking it in turns to open our tree gifts, I love the Christmas fry-up we have, I love when my Auntie comes around and we have Christmas dinner, and we pull crackers together, and tell the corny cracker-jokes, I love the puddings we eat at the end, I love the light dinners we eat later on, with the leftovers and crackers, and yes, I just love everything about Christmas!
Even after all of this, the build-up still over-powers the day.
The cold-days and early-darkness. The Christmas lights twinkling as you search for that special gift. The smiley faces and the happy families. The little kisses stolen as couples walk through the streets. The excited children gasping and pointing at the displays of their favourite toys. The omnibus' of old shows, and the happy Christmas specials. The time when there are a select-30-or-so songs that get repeated over again as you enter shops. The time when families set aside their differences and are happy. The time when you have to apply silly amounts of lip-balm and hand-lotion, just for them to keep safe. The time when people wrap up in thick coats, scarfs, hats and gloves. The time for cracking open a new Yankee Candle, with the latest scents. The time when you watch the Christmas-light-turn-on and are smiling for no apparent reason. The time when you can hear/see the word Christmas written/said around a hundred times a day. The time for snow ball fights and snow angels. The time for Bonfires and Hot-Chocolate. The time when it is socially acceptable to sing in the streets. The time when it is socially acceptable to be drinking at 11 o'clock in the morning (if you're legal.) The time for Home-Baking and warm scents. The time for sparkly nails, deep lips. The time when you have to re-arrange your room to 'keep warm' and 'look cosy'. The time for pink noses and rosy cheeks. The time for fatty foods. The time for whipped-cream-topped Hot Chocolates. Last but NOT least. The Season To Be Jolly (falalalala-lelalala)
The last few paragraphs were incredibly cheesy, and I don't even care, you can't tell me that the last few paragraphs weren't true. Can you?
Can't think of many more Christmas-Cliches, got anymore? Tell us in the comments? Thanks Hun!

GO TO BED WITH ME! (Amy)
Thursday, 31 October 2013
'Aya (In the best Yorkshire accent) So for this post I decided to show you my Bed-Time routine! It's nothing special, but ah well!
So first I hop in the shower, I love taking showers, as they're all warm! I spend about 30 seconds just stood there, letting the water consume me! C'mon, don't deny it!
Once I'm all warm, I wash my hair! See, I have quite long hair and its such a pain, especially when its knotty, I don't bother using conditioner, I probably should, but it just takes forever to wash out! Or, it just feels like it does... So I just shampoo it, and move on!
I then move on to my body, I have been using a Soap And Glory shower creme recently, just as I got it in a set and wanted to try it, and its so cute and diddy! Shower jel doesn't really excite me, I just use it, if I had to buy one though, I would co on smell and a creamy texture, and this one has both!
| Yes, that's my laptop! - Soap and Glory, Clean On Me |
After that I move on to shaving, I don't know whether anyone else does it like this, but what I do, is get soap, I have this really cute one out of a set, its in the shape of a duck and is really cute! Anyway, I get my soap, and a shower scrunchy thingy, and I get them both wet, and transfer the foam on to the scrunchy and I then like squishy it on to my legs or wherever, and go from there! Y'see, I'm to indie for shaving foam, I make my own, haha, no.
How Cute?!
Before you jump to conclusions, no, I don't have an obsession with ducks!
I don't always do it in this order, but I use a face wash/scrub, I'm currently using a SOAP AND GLORY Face Soap And Glory, it has a nice smell, and it has mini pink balls in it!
Soap And Glory, Face Soap And Clarity. I really need to clean my bathroom...
I then move on to cleansing, I am currently using a CLINIQUE Foaming Cleanser, its lovely, and leaves my skin feeling fresh! The sad part is that, I'm running out... NO!
Clinique - Foaming Cleanser, A godsend!
I'm then done in the shower, and dry off and snuggle up in some PJ's!
Yes, this IS from our Haven post!
I then apply my toner, I'm currently using a CHAMPENEYS toner, and it has a lovely scent, its leaves my skin feeling lovely!
Champneys - Skin Conditioning Gentle Toner.
I then moisturise! I'm using a T-ZONE one, so its reaaaaaally cheap, I actually got it from the 99p shop, and I got is as it said 'Skin Clearing' and I have quite problem skin, it got to work after a week, and after a few months its stopped working with spots, but I carry on using it anyway, 'cause y'know, why not?
T-ZONE - Skin Clearing Face Moisturiser.
I then use body butter or creme! I'm loving the SOAP AND GLORY The Righteous Butter its lovely! and smells WONDERFUL!
SOAP AND GLORY - THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER.
I then, if I can be bothered, pluck my brows, but from a lot of the pictures of me, you can see I really can't be bothered most of the time! I'm a lazy person!
At some point before I go to bed I have a Cuppa, y'see, I'm a bog standard English Woman, and I LOVE (with a passion) a good Cuppa, well, I don't like Earl Grey, Funny Story. Well, not so Funny, anyway! Megan has Earl Grey at her house, and its got to the point where I need to bring my own Tea Bags, but I always forget, so I'm stuck with Earl Grey, did ya know, that they smell like Washing Up Liquid, yeah, the scent puts me off! Back to routine! I love a good Cuppa, or even a Hot Chocolate, I'm not a Coffee Girl, I wish I liked it! I'M WORKING ON IT!
One Sugar, and a hint of milk!
I also, can't be bothered to dry my hair, so I just scrape it beck before bed!
PINK!
Also, I have to wear my Retainer! Wouldn't want wonky teeth again!
Once again: PINK, AND SPARKLY!
So I snuggle up in bed, with my hair scraped back, and drift off into my beauty sleep, I wish! I need it!
NIGHT!
NIGHT!
Amy
