THIS IS US FILM REVIEW!

Thursday 21 November 2013
Just as a filler, until our next post (coming soon) I thought I could just show you my english homework, have fun!

Today, I will be reviewing the hit movie from the year, yes, as if the boys couldn’t do much more. They add another string to their belt. But this was no surprise to some, after being signed to a major label like SYCO.  So what are my thoughts on the documentary/ concert film.

The film shows the five lads: Harry Styles, the curly haired youngest who can make teens everywhere fall at his feet with a hair-flick; Louis Tomlinson, The eldest, who has gone from stripes and braces, to denim and ripped jeans; Niall Horan, the Irish one known for his love of food and adorable accent; Zayn Malik, the Half-Pakistani bad boy, known for his enticing eyes, and long-lashes and Liam Payne, known for his major hair changes across the years.

This film shows the 5 in a new light, as the tabloids exploit their private lives, it’s a nice change to see them with a glimpse of their past lives, before they gave it up for the stage.

The film starts with the start of their careers and friendships, the best friends are said to have 'lost out on the X Factor' which isn't entirely true, I mean, they came third! that's no way near last!

You get to see Harry working in the Local Bakery with a real smile plastered across his well-groomed-face, showing his adorable dimples that teens across the globe have fallen for.  Zayn is also filmed as he buys his Mum and Sisters a lovely new home, with tears threatening to spring from his famous eyes, so that you then, if you didn’t before, know that he isn’t a Cheating Tool  as the papers told earlier this year.
There is also a Scientist featured, which explains how girls feel when they see the handsome five. Whilst demonstrating which parts of the human brain is affected on a to-scale model of the vital organ.

You may even get to see more than one of the toned boys without shirts, or maybe even without trousers, intrigued? You should be!

The interviews with the boys and their families are lovely, especially as they are all so proud of what their sons have become.
You don’t see much of their girlfriends or fiancee as I should mention, though this is probably best as some of the fans don’t seem to enjoy their beautiful faces like some do, sending death threats anonymously through social messaging sites like Twitter.

This film is a feel-good film that will have you up in your feet as soon as the first beat drops. It is a perfect opportunity to experience them live if it wasn’t possible to see them at their past two tours, and upcoming Stadium Tour.

As a fan, my view may seem biased, and if you aren’t a fan, go see it anyway, and you can tell me what your views are! Though chances are, if you don't really care about the band, you may not after the film! Though if you're not a fan, why are you here? exactly! Nailed it!

And this isn't the only member trouser-less!

THE GREATEST TIME OF ALL! (Amy)

Wednesday 13 November 2013
Sup, for this post I wanted to fan girl a little about Christmas, over the the lifespan of this wee blog, you may have noticed a few things about us. One of them being that we get far too excited for Christmas, far too early! There is even a countdown widget on the side of our site! A weird one, but ah well, actually, do any of you know any simple Christmas countdowns?

ANYWAY! Back on track, I have always thought that the build up to Christmas is so much more exciting then THE 25th of December! not that I am being ungrateful or anything, don't get me wrong, I love Christmas Day, I love waking up in the morning to my siblings shaking me, I love taking my stocking into my Dad's room and all sitting on the far-too-small-for-6-full-grown-people-king-size-bed, and taking it in turns to unwrap presents, I love sitting around the tree with the music channels on whilst waiting for my parents to get out of bed, I love taking it in turns to open our tree gifts, I love the Christmas fry-up we have, I love when my Auntie comes around and we have Christmas dinner, and we pull crackers together, and tell the corny cracker-jokes, I love the puddings we eat at the end, I love the light dinners we eat later on, with the leftovers and crackers, and yes, I just love everything about Christmas!

Even after all of this, the build-up still over-powers the day.

The cold-days and early-darkness. The Christmas lights twinkling as you search for that special gift. The smiley faces and the happy families. The little kisses stolen as couples walk through the streets. The excited children gasping and pointing at the displays of their favourite toys. The omnibus' of old shows, and the happy Christmas specials. The time when there are a select-30-or-so songs that get repeated over again as you enter shops. The time when families set aside their differences and are happy. The time when you have to apply silly amounts of lip-balm and hand-lotion, just for them to keep safe. The time when people wrap up in thick coats, scarfs, hats and gloves. The time for cracking open a new Yankee Candle, with the latest scents. The time when you watch the Christmas-light-turn-on and are smiling for no apparent reason. The time when you can hear/see the word Christmas written/said around a hundred times a day. The time for snow ball fights and snow angels. The time for Bonfires and Hot-Chocolate. The time when it is socially acceptable to sing in the streets. The time when it is socially acceptable to be drinking at 11 o'clock in the morning (if you're legal.) The time for Home-Baking and warm scents. The time for sparkly nails, deep lips. The time when you have to re-arrange your room to 'keep warm' and 'look cosy'. The time for pink noses and rosy cheeks. The time for fatty foods. The  time for whipped-cream-topped Hot Chocolates. Last but NOT least. The Season To Be Jolly (falalalala-lelalala)

The last few paragraphs were incredibly cheesy, and I don't even care, you can't tell me that the last few paragraphs weren't true. Can you?

Can't think of many more Christmas-Cliches, got anymore? Tell us in the comments? Thanks Hun!

YOUTUBE!

Wednesday 6 November 2013
This isn't a normal post, and I know most of you won't really get excited about this post, but then again you won't get excited about another post... Moving on from that embarrassing moment!

This is just a short post to ask your opinion on something!

I want to be a Youtuber, but not really sure when I should start posting videos? I watch A LOT of Youtubers including the likes of: Tanya Burr; Zoella; Pointless Blog; Thatcher Joe; Jim Chapman... The list could go on!

Some people in my year have started Youtubing, and everyone has taken the 'mick' out of them... They were cringy to be honest though! Y'see that's what I'm worried about! Will people be horrible about it? I mean, I wouldn't post it to Facebook or anything, that would be exposing myself to all sorts of hate!

I actually found out recently that a few of my friends also want to do Youtubing, and some of the girls want to do Blogging as well, and you know when you have the competitive instinct to want to beat them? Be better than them, that feeling came flooding to me, they're lovely though, and would probably be better than me anyway... Ah well!

If I were to start posting videos NOW I wouldn't tell anyone, and I'm not sure whether I should wait at least a year until this Blog gets better, giving me more leeway and making it easier?

Please help me?

Amy

ISWAI!

Tuesday 5 November 2013
Hey guys, it's Megan here! This is a bit of a random post, but ever since Made in Chelsea's Caggie Dunlop's clothing brand 'ISWAI' launched in April 2012, I have loved every single piece produced by them and not just because I love Caggie! ISWAI (which stands for ' It Starts With An Idea'), is an individual clothing line, made to give underrated designers a chance to express their talent and creativity. I just wanted to do this post to show you guys what a great brand it is, as it's many different designers putting their own thoughts and ideas into something, even Caggie's had a go at designing some items!

The first line they launched was called 'Five Ways' and if your order was within the first 50 orders, you got a special hand-written note from Caggie, which I thought was nice touch. The tee's were priced at £42 when they first came out but since then, the price's have gone down to £30, which I think is a really good price as the the tee's are really good quality, the delivery's quick, they're comfortable and they're fashionable - what more do you need from a tee?!
This is the 'Universe light' tee which Caggie designed herself. This is personally one of my favourites and I got it from Christmas last year, it's sooooo nice!

Caggie looking great at the launch of the ISWAI pop-up shop.

I Hope you enjoyed this random little post, I hope I did ISWAI justice! If you're reading this, I think you should go and check their website out as they have lots of new pieces coming out, all in time for the colder months - perfect for christmas presents!
